Together, we do a walkthrough of your home, and create a list of items to be moved.  We then give you a FLAT RATE PRICE that includes EVERYTHING (labor, disassembling, wrapping, packing, packing materials, gas, tolls, mileage, unwrapping, assembling and taxes).  No hidden costs, no surprises.  This means you don’t have to worry about traffic jams, time consuming wrapping and packing and so on. Since we have plenty of experience moving people, we know you will always have a few last minute extra boxes packed or a few items that were not included in the initial items list. Therefore, we encourage you to call us and update your inventory at anytime prior to your pickup.
The most important thing is, our flat price system is binding so you don’t have to worry about any last minute surprises or price increases just because you have a few extra boxes.

What to take notice of . . .

Remember the rule of thumb when it comes to moving is NOT to transition towards the lowest estimate(s). Beware of moving companies whom par-take in low ball estimations. Usually there are major deficiencies with their licensing and insurance which enables them to issue quotes in this fashion. These blemishes have surfaced in a very short amount of time and it is vital to check with the Department of Transportation and Better Business Bureau before reaching any final decisions. Do NOT make yourself vulnerable to becoming another horror story with accumulation of major price increases. Companies that issue low-ball estimations are only merely trying to get their foot in the door prior to charging client with actual price of move which they deem necessary.

What is the Custom Tariff System?

With the Custom Tariff System, you only pay for what you are moving by weight or by volume, which is your choice at the time of scheduling your move. If you decide to value your move by weight, then before the move we provide you with a copy of a scale certificate showing the gross (totally empty) weight of the truck. After loading we take the truck to a state certified weigh station and provide you with an original certificate of total weight. That is it. If you would rather go by volume, there are markings on the inside walls of each of our trucks that show the cubic foot measurement. This way you know your final price before the truck leaves your home. Our custom tariff is fully endorsed by AMSA (American Moving and Storage Association) and the DOT.
